Interstate opened its doors in 1938 as a remodeling contractor and distributor of Perma-Stone (1950s), a unique imitation stone made with real masonry products, and of aluminum siding in the early 1970s.

Since then we have expanded our business to become a manufacturer of vinyl and CompositWood® windows, as well as a distributor of siding, roofing, storm and entry doors, decking, railing (go to www.interstatebldg.com), and Wellborn cabinetry and counter tops.

Along with our growing Wellborn cabinet division, Interstate has one of the largest selections of counter top brands in the area. And our cabinet selections run from builder grade to custom made.
